Construction Worker Falls to Death from Height at Hyderabad Building Site; Gyaspur Village Grieves Sudden Tragedy
A 32-year-old construction worker from Gyaspur village died after falling from a height at a Hyderabad building site during work. The victim, Anil Rajbhar, succumbed to injuries despite treatment. The incident has left his family devastated and the entire village in mourning as they await the return of his body for final rites.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Rajbhar, son of Rama Rajbhar, a resident of Gyaspur village. According to family members, Anil had been working as a laborer at a construction company located in Mianpur, Hyderabad, to support his family and improve their financial condition.
The fatal incident occurred on Sunday evening while Anil was engaged in construction work at a building site. During the course of his duties, he reportedly lost balance and fell from a significant height. The impact of the fall caused severe injuries to his head, chest, abdomen, neck, arms, and legs.
Co-workers and other employees at the site immediately rushed him to a private hospital, where medical treatment was initiated without delay. The workers also informed the company management and local police authorities about the incident.
Despite sustained medical efforts by doctors, Anil Rajbhar succumbed to his injuries on Monday night during treatment. Following his death, hospital authorities informed the family, triggering an outpouring of grief in Gyaspur village.
The news of his demise plunged the village into mourning, with family members breaking down in distress. Anil’s mother, Gyanti Devi, repeatedly fainted upon hearing about her son’s death, while his wife, Nisha Devi, along with his children—son Anush and daughter Aanshik—are inconsolable as they await his final return.
The deceased is also survived by his brothers Makai Rajbhar, Bhola, Madan, Radharamohan, Munna, Jhunna, Kapil, and Arvind. Villagers, social workers, and local representatives visited the bereaved family to offer condolences, describing Anil as a hardworking and friendly individual who always stood by others in times of need.
The family has traveled to Hyderabad to complete identification and other formal formalities. The body will be handed over to the family only after completion of necessary procedures. The entire village remains in a state of shock as preparations for the final rites await the return of the mortal remains.
The incident has cast a harsh spotlight on the risks faced by migrant laborers working in construction sites far from home, leaving behind families shattered by sudden and irreparable loss.
